This policy explains what personal data we process when operating gdev.cz and communicating with you, why we do it, and what rights you have. It is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

We tried to keep it readable. If anything is unclear, just write to us.

1Who is the controller

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer — Art. 37 GDPR does not require one for us.

2What data we process

Visiting the website. When you open gdev.cz, our hosting provider automatically processes:

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics, advertising or tracking systems. We do not build visitor profiles, do not track you across websites and never sell your data.

We only keep the hosting provider's operational and security logs so we can spot errors and filter out automated traffic that would overload the site.

Cookies. The site uses no analytics, marketing or profiling cookies. It stores a single technical cookie required for the site to work:

This cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested, so under § 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. no consent is needed. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to ask about. You can block it in your browser settings; the site may then not remember your language.

When you contact us. There is no contact form on the site — you write to us by e-mail or call. We then process what you tell us: name, e-mail, phone, company name and the content of your message, including any material about the intended project.

When we become your supplier. If we sign a contract, we also process billing details, company ID and VAT ID, bank details, information about the progress of the project and related communication.

3Why we process it and on what legal basis

Our legitimate interest specifically: we need to know the site works and be able to detect and stop automated traffic that would take the service down or make it disproportionately expensive. We believe this outweighs your privacy interest mainly because we do not use the data for profiling, do not combine it with other sources and keep it only briefly.

We send no newsletter and do not use your contact details for marketing messages.

4Who we share data with

We never sell data or pass it on for marketing purposes. We do use these processors:

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EU. Vercel Inc. is based in the USA and part of the processing may take place on its servers outside the EU. Transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel under Art. 28 GDPR.

5How we protect data

The site runs exclusively over HTTPS. Access to the administration and hosting is protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and the admin login is additionally protected against password guessing. Only a small number of people who need the data for their work can access it, and they are bound by confidentiality. We use up-to-date libraries and frameworks and follow security advisories.

6Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects on you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

7Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right:

of access — to know what data we hold about you and receive a copy (Art. 15)
to rectification — to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed (Art. 16)
to erasure — to have data deleted where we have no legal ground to keep it (Art. 17)
to restriction of processing — in the situations set out in Art. 18
to data portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable format (Art. 20)
to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). If you object, we stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

You can exercise them by e-mail at drazan@gdev.cz. We reply within one month at the latest. We may verify your identity so that we do not hand data to someone else.

8Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our processing or the law changes. The current version is always available on gdev.cz and carries an effective date and version number. We notify clients with an ongoing contract about material changes.
